About the Author.
Glenn Marks, Ph.D.
Glenn Marks obtained his PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Iowa with a dual emphasis in neuro and health psychology. After completing his internship at the Tucson VA, Glenn spent much of his early career working as a staff psychologist in the Carondelet Health system in the departments of physical medicine and rehabilitation.
Throughout his clinical work, Glenn completed treatment and evaluations of over 10000 clients through his work in both public and for profit hospitals, the Southern Arizona Veterans Administration, the military, the State of Arizona and the University of Arizona. He served as the first polytrauma psychologist at the Tucson Veteran’s Administration, and oversaw the first TBI treatment center at Ft Huachuca, AZ, where he and his team developed protocols for evaluation and treatment of mTBI for active duty military returning from the Iraqi and Afghani wars.
In addition to his clinical work, Glenn served in numerous positions on both the local and state professional organizations including as president of the Southern Arizona Psychological Association.
Driven by a desire to facilitate more productive work environments, Glenn obtained an executive MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, following which he moved to the San Francisco Bay area where he is focusing on facilitating more engaged and psychologically healthy workplaces.
