Helen Hsu, PsyD

Helen Hsu, PsyD, is Director of outreach and a lecturer at Stanford University. Dr. Hsu is the immediate past president of the American Psychological Association (APA) Division 45 (Society for the Psychological Study of Culture, Ethnicity, and Race) and a past president of the Asian American Psychological Association. Dr. Hsu began her career at Asian Community Mental Health Services in Oakland, California where she had first interned as a bilingual (Mandarin) clinician. Dr. Hsu was a representative on the American Psychological Association (APA) Committee on Sexual Orientation and Gender Expression and is a past chair of the APA Minority Fellowship Program Training Advisory Committee.  Her work primarily focuses upon culturally responsive clinical and community approaches to improve psychological care for diverse under-served communities. As founder of Hella Mental Health she provides professional psychological consultation to corporate, entertainment and educational institutions.
