TogetherWell is a nonprofit organization dedicated to eliminating the systemic barriers to mental health education, resources, and tools. Our goal is to improve the well-being of all communities by making critical information and support more accessible and affordable through our free and low-cost mental health workshops.
Dr. Michele Haley believes that education is a right not a privilege. She founded the nonprofit TogetherWell after an incident in her own family clearly demonstrated the critical role education can play in addressing mental health issues. Dr. Haley’s deep understanding of the mental health field comes from two decades of experience in a variety of different roles — including CEO, therapist, researcher, thesis chair and professor.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree, with honors, in psychology from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va., as well as Masters and Ph.D. degrees in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) in San Francisco. She lives in the San Francisco Bay area.
Stephanie Maassen-Deason superpower is her ability to know customers and brands deeply. She is a change agent and transformational leader who promotes rigorous critical thinking. Stephanie uses this knowledge to help brands market with heart, all while driving innovation and growth.
Stephanie Maassen-Deason founded Propel+Flourish, a Fractional CMO and consulting firm. She focuses on key customer segments and enhances memorable touchpoints using customer-centric strategies. Stephanie’s approach fosters customer loyalty and profitable revenue growth.
Stephanie has over 20 years of B2C/D2C/B2B marketing experience. Most recently, she rose through the ranks at Balsam Brands. Stephanie helped the organization grow and scale its marketing team while growing from an 8-to-9-figure brand. Previously, she worked at e-commerce B2C brands such as Home Depot and Home Decorations Collection.
Stephanie earned an MBA from Webster University and a bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communications from the University of Missouri. Outside of her role as a board member, she is also a longtime yogi and advocate for holistic well-being. Stephanie believes in the importance of mindfulness and self-care practices in supporting mental health.
