CE Requirements for Alabama Counselor
How many CE units does Alabama require?
LPC: 40 yours every 2 years;
APC: 10 hours every 2 years
Additional Information
LPC: 6 hours ethics. APC: 2 hours ethics.
LPC-S: 5 hours supervision every 2 years
75 percent of hours must be real-time participation in seminars, classes, workshops, presentations, training programs, or similar activities, or by use of interactive technology.
2 hours in practices and ethics of virtual supervision one-time requirement to provide virtual supervision
