Laura Garrett, LPC, NCC, CAS, is a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 30 years of clinical experience specializing in adult ADHD and executive functioning. She is an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP) and has extensive experience identifying ADHD when it presents indirectly and is often misidentified as anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, or behavioral concerns.
In addition to her work with ADHD, Laura has a strong clinical background in treating anxiety, depression, bipolar spectrum disorders, and substance use disorders, particularly when these concerns co-occur with executive functioning challenges. Her work focuses on translating neurobiological understanding into practical, skills-based strategies that support activation, organization, time management, emotional regulation, and follow-through. Laura is also a curriculum developer and published author of Creating Your Own Happily Ever After, and she provides education and training for mental health professionals through her private practice.
