Register For The EQ Coaching Training
Zur Institute is honored to co-sponsor the EQ Leader Program2.0, a unique opportunity for mental health professionals to participate in training on how to coach executives and executive teams in developing and using Emotional Intelligence in their organizations.
Why Coaching? Contemporary workplaces beg for more enlightened leadership. Coaching leaders is a natural extension of mental health professionals well developed skills in bringing about behavior change. Through impacting those at a leadership level, coaching provides great opportunities to expand one’s impact because leaders impact many other people.
Since research on EQ began in 1990, thousands of studies have demonstrated that strong EQ skills contribute dramatically to success at work for everyone, but particularly for executives. Organizations thrive when their leaders make use of EQ in leading their people. Those led thrive as well because organizations function more humanely.
Alternatively, executives with poorly developed EQ skills often lead in ways that create excess stress and even distress. They don’t mean to. They just don’t know better. Most such leaders are hungry to learn when given the opportunity. Coaches help leaders understand and use psychological skills to influence people constructively, unlocking positive energy.
EQ offers a set of scientifically proven tools to lead in a more intelligent and effective manner. Executives can use them to lead in ways that utilize, rather than punish initiatives, creativity, teamwork, and use of conflict as a means of growth, rather than cynicism and disillusionment.
