DESCRIPTION: Having safe and secure emotional attachments as a child with parents and caregivers, and with our adult partners, is a basic human need. Attachment styles developed in childhood stay with us for a lifetime, and influence our emotional security, the personal meaning we give to experiences, and our ability to create and maintain closeness, trust, safety, and stability in intimate relationships.

The focus of this session is on Family Systems Interventions. Utilizing didactic instruction, case studies and videos of actual therapy sessions, Dr. Levy will provide in-depth training on how to effectively utilize individual and relationship-based assessment methods. He then will follow-up by discussing interventions designed for a deeper and more thorough integrative approach to healing.
